The winners of Foxwoods Dream Wedding Giveaway secure $40,000 package
The Dream Wedding Giveaway contest is over and we got ourselves a winner! Shannon and Michael were the luckiest couple and they’ll have the chance to say their wedding vows in style.
The contest was organized by Foxwoods Resort Casino, together with NBC Connecticut, and was a part of the 25th Anniversary of the Foxwoods, the largest of all resort casinos in North America.
Dream wedding secured
The future newlyweds will have the wedding of their dreams, with all costs covered. Their prize includes wedding attire, VIP bachelor and bachelorette parties, custom-made wedding cake, and a three-course dinner for 150 of their guests.
That’s not all they’ll get, since the bride and groom will have the opportunity to enjoy everything Foxwoods has to offer, from the honeymoon suite to spa facilities.
The winners were ecstatic they got to be a part of this once in a lifetime experience, which would have cost them more than $40,000. Shannon was especially happy and a bit impatient to start planning the wedding.
More than 2,500 couple applied
The rules of the contest were simple: all those who wanted to participate had to send a video essay in order to convince the jury they were the right choice for a Foxwoods dream wedding. More than 2500 couples competed for this luxurious prize, with the name of the winners announced this Friday, when the celebration of the resort’s 25th Anniversary officially began.
Resort Operations and Development VP, Jason Guyot, congratulated Shannon and Michael, stating the Foxwoods was honoured to organize their wedding and at the same time very proud to be a part of their special day.
Anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the year, with many more surprises in hand.
